Welcome to Share Peace Parenting: A Journey to Raising Resilient, Connected Children.
Hello, and welcome to Share Peace Parenting! I'm Clara Roulev, and I'm so excited that you're here. This space is where we explore mindful, conscious, embodied parenting and how we can raise children who feel safe, loved, and equipped with the tools they need to thrive—without having to recover from their childhoods.
A Bit About My Story
I know firsthand how deeply our childhood experiences can shape us as parents. I grew up in a home filled with both love and challenges. My family went through difficult times, and the emotional atmosphere could be unpredictable. I learned to stay quiet, make myself small, and navigate around the tension. Even so, my parents did the best they could with the resources they had. My dad, when things were calm, was funny and playful—we shared beautiful moments of dancing and laughter that I’ll always treasure. My mom was compassionate and wise, someone who knew how to take care of her body through food and her soul through spirituality. She held me when I cried, offering comfort and love during the hard moments.
But there were also times when those loving moments were overshadowed by shame and fear. I struggled with social anxiety and perfectionism, trying to earn my worth through academic achievements. When I lost my daughter, Sophie, to stillbirth in 2014, I was overwhelmed with grief and anxiety. I realized that I didn’t have the inner emotional resources to cope with such a devastating experience, and that set me on a path of healing and transformation.
How My Transformation Began
My transformation didn’t happen overnight. It started with awareness—recognizing how my childhood wounds were impacting my parenting and how I wanted things to change. From there, I made the intention to align myself with my core values, to live and parent from a place of love, peace, and connection. I learned to open myself up to the aliveness of my body, to listen to what my body was telling me in moments of stress or challenge.
Through mindfulness, I practiced embodying the values I wanted to live by, even in difficult moments, so that this new way of being would eventually become an option—something I could reach for instead of reacting from old patterns. This practice of aligning my body and mind with my values has helped me create a more peaceful and connected home for my children. And yes, I’m still messing up sometimes and asking for forgiveness, because this journey is about growth, not perfection.
Why I Created Share Peace Parenting
That journey made me realize how important it is to raise children with emotional resilience and inner strength. I don’t want my children—or yours—to grow up feeling like they need to recover from their childhoods. My mission is to help parents cultivate homes where children feel seen, heard, and valued, and to give them the emotional tools they need to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and self-compassion.
Through Share Peace Parenting, I’ll be sharing practical tools and insights from my experience as a Trauma-Informed Peaceful Parenting and Mind-Body Coach. We’ll explore peaceful playful parenting, self-compassion, and how to break cycles of trauma, so we can raise children who are grounded, resilient, and connected to their true selves.
