  • Is Peaceful Parenting a permissive approach?
    Peaceful Parenting is an authoritative approach which means we have high (age appropriate expectations), and we offer our children high support to meet those expectations. A peaceful parent uses firm empathic limits to coach children to be the best version of themselves.
  • How is coaching different than therapy?
    I am not a therapist. I do not manage mental illness or diagnoses, or bill insurance for my services. In our sessions
  • Why should I work with a coach?

  • How are you different from other coaches?
    Supportive focused attunment is my superpower. I believe in human innate goodness and in the wisdom of the body to transmute patterns of reactivity. As you share about challenging moments and I listen with an open heart, your sharing will be a portal into your body's inner knowing, there is space and an opportunity to pause and pay attention, to explore and allow, to nurture. If welcome, we can weave in gentle breathing practices, maybe a pause for reflection, somatic centering practices and nervous system soothing tools. Collaboratively, we will reframe challenging behavior, both yours, your inner child's and your child's, from a lens of Internal Family Systems (ICF), self-compassion and empathy, brain-body parenting and mindfulness. You will always have a choice in the path we are taking in our sessions because you are in charge of your journey: I believe you have the wisdom within!
